STSMs

What is a Short-Term Scientific mission (STSM) grant?

Short-term scientific missions (STSMs) are exchange visits between researchers designed to facilitate individual mobility, enhance established networks, and promote collaboration among participants of the COST Action. They allow a scientist to visit an institution or laboratory in another EU4MOFs COST Member state and share new techniques not available in a participant’s home institution.

Who can apply?

The COST Action CA22147 (EU4MOFs) encourages the participation of young researchers and innovators (YRIs), defined by the COST Association as individuals under the age of 40. The Grant applicant must be registered as working group (WG) member of the Action, registered on e-COST, engaged in an official research programme as a postgraduate student, or postdoctoral fellow, or an employee of the institution, which has a clear association with performing research.

For a detailed description of the application procedure please follow the COST Annotated Rules available at www.cost.eu
