Academia–Industry Collaboration and Technology Translation
WP6 bridges academia and industry, facilitating engagement, collaboration, and technology translation of MOF innovations towards real-world applications.
Objective:
- Bridge academia and industry to facilitate the translation of MOF research into real-world applications.
- Strengthen collaboration between researchers, industrial partners, and end-users across the MOF value chain.
- Promote industrially relevant performance evaluation, benchmarking, and validation of MOF technologies.
- Support technology transfer and commercialization pathways to maximize the societal and economic impact of MOF innovations.
Tasks:
- Establish and expand an industrial network to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint research activities.
- Identify industrial challenges and application needs to guide future research and innovation within the Action.
- Facilitate interactions between academic researchers and industrial stakeholders through workshops, networking events, and brokerage activities.
- Promote best practices for technology translation, industrial validation, and real-world performance assessment of MOF technologies.
- Support collaboration on intellectual property, scale-up, commercialization, and market adoption strategies.
Deliverables
D6.1: A report summarizing industrial needs, collaboration opportunities, and technology translation priorities for MOF research.
D6.2: Best-practice recommendations for academia–industry collaboration and industrial validation of MOF technologies.
D6.3: An active industrial stakeholder network supporting collaboration, knowledge exchange, and technology uptake.
D6.4: A roadmap for accelerating the translation and commercialization of MOF innovations.
